Gamecocks Shut Out Sycamores

Indiana State had no answer for South Carolina Gamecocks hurler Jim Alt, who overwhelmed Sycamores hitters as the Gamecocks coasted to a 6-0 victory. Even with the win, the Gamecocks have a dismal 8-19 record.

The Gamecocks picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
