| Ohio State Wins, Bryant goes 3-for-4 | The Oklahoma Sooners and Ohio State Buckeyes brought some excitement to Biglerville College Fields.
The Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Oklahoma Sooners, 9-2, at Biglerville College Fields. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Neal Bryant, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The winner was Pablo Barboza, who threw 80 pitches over 6.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with no runs on 2 hits.
The Buckeyes had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 9-0, Ohio State, with no one out. Oklahoma, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Nick Green dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 splitter, he hit into a double play.
The Buckeyes bumped their record to 14-13 with this latest triumph.
