| Beavers Bang Out 8-1 Win Versus LSU | The Oregon State Beavers beat the LSU Tigers, 8-1, at Palisades Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of shortstop Troy Mills, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Oregon State reliever Julian Carter picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. John Radtke absorbed the loss. The 11th-place Beavers have won 4 straight games.
Joey Moses, who is tied for 4th in the RDL in bases on balls with 25, aided the Oregon State cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
