| Sun Devils Stymie Tulane, Take 6-1 Win | The Arizona State Sun Devils went home winners at Ballpark of Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley College, thanks in large part to starter Brian Deneen. Deneen silenced the Tulane Green Wave, enabling Arizona State to grab the 6-1 win. The Sun Devils have an impressive 17-9 record.
The Sun Devils got a big at-bat from catcher Keith Mooney. For the game, Mooney was 2-4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 21st hit of the season gave Arizona State a 1-0 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Mooney said after the game.
