The Hawaii Islanders topped the Seattle Sasquatch, 10-2, in Roberto Clemente League action at Aloha Stadium. The player of the game was Hawaii left fielder Freddy Ramos. The Islanders are now 29-39, while the Sasquatch fall to 43-26.

Ramos contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Hawaii in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Ramos took a changeup from Kanichi Kaneshiro and stroked the home run to right. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Islanders to leap in front, 3-1.

"The Islanders definitely had our number," said Seattle manager Bob Miller.
