The North Carolina Tar Heels downed the Ohio State Buckeyes, 7-5, at Bruisers Ballpark. Josh Henry led the way, going 3-for-4 for North Carolina. North Carolina reliever Steve Bush was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Greg Olson took the loss. Noah Speech finished to wrap up his 5th save.

Reston, Virginia-born Jerry Pringle came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded and the Tar Heels trailing 5-2, he hit a grand slam home run to right to put North Carolina on top.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Henry said in reaction to the win.

North Carolina has now won 3 in a row.
