| Ducks Win at LSU, 9-6 | A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Kevin Riffe, who is tied for 8th in the RDL with a .734 slugging percentage, led the Oregon Ducks to a 9-6 win over the LSU Tigers. The win was credited to Jaden Powell in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Mark Keitz took the loss. The Ducks bumped their record to 14-10 with this latest triumph.
Riffe had a key at-bat for Oregon early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and gave Oregon an early 3-0 lead.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Manny Cruz said.
