| Demon Deacans Turn Back South Illinois, 7-5 | Behind a solid performance from left fielder Mark Franklin, the Wake Forest Demon Deacans defeated the South Illinois Salukis, 7-5. Franklin was 1-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit 2 times. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Demon Deacans. Ryan LeBlanc got the save, the 6th for him this season.
