Victory Over Commodores Takes South Illinois to 15-8

The Vanderbilt Commodores got a superb performance from first baseman Jon Hargett, but the South Illinois Salukis still won the game, 8-5. Hargett was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 3-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Salukis have an impressive 15-8 record.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Ballpark of Barrow College crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
