| Tigers Get Win, Extend Streak to 4 | The Tigers had to overcome a good performance from Tennessee pitcher Ben Lucas to claim a 6-2 win at Madera College Grounds. Lucas went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Missouri reliever Casey Stromberg was the winner. His record is now 5-0. The losing pitcher was David McKeever. Missouri is now 17-6, 2 games up in the Ron Fraser Division.
The Tigers got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Sam Welborn. For the game, Welborn went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the seventh, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Missouri a 4-2 lead.
