| Tigers Edge Hurricanes, 5-4 | In a tight contest at Gremlins Ballpark, the Missouri Tigers edged the Miami Hurricanes by the score of 5-4. Missouri first baseman Joel Bothell, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The Tigers bumped their record to 15-6 with this latest triumph.
The Tigers got a big at-bat from second baseman Sam Egleston. For the game, Egleston was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the seventh, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Missouri a 4-3 lead.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Missouri manager Rob Lewis.
