| Ragin Cajuns Sneak Past Tigers, 7-6 | LSU catcher Brendan Grimes had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-6, to Louisiana-Layfayette at Field of the Dukes. Grimes went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Ragin Cajuns bumped their record to 10-10 with this latest triumph.
James Jenkins was the walk-off hero for Louisiana-Layfayette. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ragin Cajuns designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This place was electric at the end," Jenkins said.
