| Hurricanes Bang Out 7-5 Win Versus South Carolina | South Carolina third baseman Jonathan Harris had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-5, to Miami at Scandals Ballpark. Harris went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times. Steven Fishback, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The Hurricanes bumped their record to 10-10 with this latest triumph.
Tyler Stone hit a 2-run double off Keary Sheeks in the top of the sixth, which put the Hurricanes in front, 5-3. In addition to the double, Stone had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
