| Green Wave Stymie UCLA, Take 3-1 Win | Berthoud College Grounds was the site of a tense game between the UCLA Bruins and Tulane Green Wave.
The Tulane Green Wave took UCLA pitcher Josh Harbaugh's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Berthoud College Grounds. The final score had Tulane getting past the Bruins, 3-1. Harbaugh went 6.2 innings and allowed no earned runs, striking out 7. David Fingado, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.
With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Nate Orr stroked a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 16th hit of the season and put Tulane in front, 2-1.
"It was a solid team effort," said Orr after the game.
Tulane has 3 straight wins, UCLA 3 straight losses.
