Cougars Continue Skid Thanks to Saunders, Ducks
The Oregon Ducks defeated the Washington State Cougars, 8-3, at Tribe Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Oregon was shortstop Jim Saunders. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Washington State's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

Saunders had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Ducks went on to win.
