| Sycamores Get Road Win, 9-6 | The Ohio State Buckeyes got a superb performance from center fielder Adam Lee, but the Indiana State Sycamores still won the game, 9-6. Lee was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Indiana State reliever Andy Anderson picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Greg Olson was saddled with the loss. The Sycamores have an impressive 12-7 record.
Steve Holeman was 2-4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Indiana State. The 21-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Greg Olson. It was his 12th walk of the season.
"Enjoyed this one," Holeman told the Indiana State News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
