| Bulldogs Shut Out Cowboys | Georgia center fielder Noah Lewandowski made his presence felt in the 5-0 Bulldogs triumph over the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Lewandowski went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Georgia reliever Steve Kuhns picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Greg Hughes was saddled with the loss. Georgia is now 8-11, while Oklahoma State is 11-8.
The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth when Lewandowski, who is tied for 9th in the SBL in triples with 1, hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Bulldogs into the lead, 3-0.
"Enjoyed this one," Lewandowski told the Georgia Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
