| Rebels Clip Owls, 5-4 | The Ole Miss Rebels picked up a win at Toughkenamon College Fields, knocking off the Rice Owls, 5-4. Starting pitcher Tristan Townsend was an essential part of his team's success. Even with the win, the Rebels have a dismal 6-13 record.
John Mastin, who is tied for 10th in the RDL in triples with 1, aided the Ole Miss cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"Enjoyed this one," Mastin told the Ole Miss News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
