Jordan goes 3-for-4, 49'ers Move to 11-7

The Long Beach State 49'ers grabbed a 14-5 win over the Houston Cougars at Suns Ballpark. Long Beach State right fielder Greg Jordan went 3-4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 7 to earn player of the game honors. Kevin Cook closed the game out for Long Beach State, earning his 1st save. The 49'ers have an impressive 11-7 record.

Long Beach State grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Jordan, who is tied for 4th in the RDL in extra base hits with 14, hit a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put the 49'ers out in front, 6-3.
