| Tigers Raise Rally Flag, Beat Indiana State, 7-6 | Fans who came to Pit Vipers Ballpark watched the Clemson Tigers and the Indiana State Sycamores fight to the finish.
The Clemson Tigers overcame a good performance by Indiana State second baseman Eddie Fauls to knock off Indiana State, 7-6, at Pit Vipers Ballpark. Fauls went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Clemson has now won 3 in a row.
This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the ninth, John Wayland got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run. The Tigers took the lead, 7-6.
