| Tigers Lose 6-4 Decision to Jayhawks | Despite a fine performance by catcher Kyle Roorda, the Clemson Tigers suffered a 6-4 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks. Roorda was 2-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Jayhawks bumped their record to 7-7 with this latest triumph.
Fred Gates hit a 2-run double off Nate Stewart in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Jayhawks in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Gates had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.
