| Commodores Win at Auburn, 8-4 | The Vanderbilt Commodores downed the Auburn Tigers, 8-4, at Zodiac Ballpark. The Commodores were led by Nate Gartley, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The winner was Gary Cooke in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Brian Campbell took the loss. The Commodores bumped their record to 7-7 with this latest triumph.
