| Razorbacks Bridle Salukis, 3-1 | Despite a fine performance by shortstop Alex McNichols, the South Illinois Salukis suffered a 3-1 loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks. McNichols was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. The winner was Alan Seelbinder in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Troy Turner took the loss. T.J. Dyer earned save number 5.
The Razorbacks got a big at-bat from left fielder Josh Dalton. For the game, Dalton was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Arkansas a 3-1 lead.
