| Chancellor Helps Owls Run Win Streak to 3 | The Rice Owls downed the Fresno State Bulldogs, 5-1, at Toughkenamon College Fields. The Owls were led by Bobby Chancellor, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 3 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Rice now has a 3-game win streak.
Chancellor had a key at-bat for Rice early in the game. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and gave Rice an early 2-0 lead.
