| Griner scores 3 runs, Horned Frogs Move to 8-5 | Getting a good performance from right fielder Ricky Griner, the TCU Horned Frogs defeated the Arizona State Sun Devils, 13-5. Griner was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Horned Frogs. The Horned Frogs bumped their record to 8-5 with this latest triumph.
Griner had a key at-bat for TCU early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave TCU an early 2-0 lead.
