| G.o.D. Trip Sasquatch in Extras | Tonga starter Toa Fotu Taurus had a strong outing against the Seattle Sasquatch at Sick's Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 2-1 win. Tonga reliever Robinson Merrado picked up the win, upping his record to 5-5. C.J. Harnack absorbed the loss. Tonga is second in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division with a record of 35-36.
Late-game drama came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Scott McFarland, hit a single. It helped Tonga seize the win.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Taurus.
