| Tigers Prevail, 2-0, Over Oklahoma | The Missouri Tigers racked up a win at Ballpark of Ridge College, bumping off the Oklahoma Sooners, 2-0. Tris Griffin, who started for Missouri, pitched effectively for his team. Matt Yoast earned the save, his 1st, for the Tigers. The Tigers bumped their record to 10-3 with this latest triumph.
The Tigers got a big at-bat from third baseman Shane Griggs. For the game, Griggs was 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Missouri a 2-0 lead.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Oklahoma skipper Steve Oliver, "and it cost us."
