| Bulldogs Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras | The Arizona Wildcats got a sterling performance from pitcher Justin Mancuso, but the Bulldogs still prevailed, 5-4. Mancuso was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball. Chris Hancock earned the save, his 4th, for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs have an impressive 9-4 record.
Late-game drama came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Frank Reynoso, hit a single. It helped Fresno State seize the win.
"We'll savor this win," Reynoso told the Fresno State Citizen, "then get ready for the next game."
