| Victory Pushes Hornets Record to 38-29 | Eureka starter Alexis Zepeda had a strong outing against the Bloomington Blazers at The Nest. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. Zepeda, now 5-8, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 9, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. Yoshiki Sato converted his 5th save in 6 tries.
