Bears Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras

Tom Griffith left his imprint on the 7-5 Baylor win against the Oregon Ducks. Griffith went 3 for 3 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Baylor reliever Justin McNamee got the win, raising his record to 1-2. Danny McDonald was tagged with the loss. Even with the win, the Bears have a dismal 4-8 record.

Griffith had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 0-1 fastball from Danny McDonald, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Bears a 7-4 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Griffith.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Griffith said.
