| Victory Pushes Green Wave Record to 7-4 | The Green Wave had to overcome a fine effort from TCU pitcher Carlos Caal to grab a narrow 3-1 win at Berthoud College Grounds. Caal went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs. The Green Wave bumped their record to 7-4 with this latest triumph.
Had Doug Davidson not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Davidson hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Green Wave.
Davidson called the win "a collective effort."
