| Longhorns Rally For Late Win Over Tigers | Fans who gathered at South Paris College Grounds saw a good contest between the Texas Longhorns and LSU Tigers.
Texas Longhorns starter Jason Lester turned in a top-notch performance against the LSU Tigers at South Paris College Grounds. The result was a win for the Longhorns, 3-1. Bobby Schroeder earned save number 2.
Bill Cotter aided the Texas cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Lester said after the game.
