| Wildcats Rally For Late Win Over Bears | Tyler Webb had a good game, but he could not keep the Baylor Bears from falling, 7-5, to the Arizona Wildcats at Wolverines Stadium. The Baylor left fielder was 2 for 3 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 in the loss. Kevin Fineran picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Justin McNamee was tagged with the loss. The Wildcats bumped their record to 7-3 with this latest triumph.
The Wildcats got a big at-bat from right fielder Chris Lavigne. For the game, Lavigne was 1-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Arizona a 6-5 lead.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Lavigne said after the game.
