| Buckeyes Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start | The Buckeyes had to overcome a good performance from Alabama pitcher Jesse Weller to claim a 3-2 win at Ballpark of Bloomfield College. Weller went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Earning his 1st save of the year was Chris Hicks. Ohio State is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 3rd in 8 games.
Mike Abbott aided the Ohio State cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the second. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk.
