| Seminoles Come Back Late to Top Sycamores | Florida State turned a good effort from starter Dave Pinkley into a win over the Indiana State Sycamores at Ballpark of Riverdale College. The final score was 6-2. With the win, Florida State elevates its record to 4-4.
John Robinson found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Indiana State hurler Tom Dorsey, the 19-year-old pinch hitter reached on an error by the center fielder, driving in 1 run. His 3rd RBI of the season put the Seminoles on top, 3-2.
"We take it day by day here," said Robinson, "and today was a good one for us."
