Florida turned a good effort from starter Tom Pollman into a win over the Michigan Wolverines at Siege Ballpark. The final score was 8-0. Earning his 1st save of the year was Justin Barnett. Florida, now 6-2, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Henry Burns, who is rated as the 68th best prospect by BNN, aided the Florida cause with a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
