| Sun Devils Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras | The Ballpark of Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley College faithful were treated to a dramatic, walk-off win.
Arizona State starter Brad Seibel pitched effectively against the Texas Longhorns at Ballpark of Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley College. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. The Sun Devils, now 5-2, have hit the ground running this season.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Arizona State trailing 2-1, Wes Williams hit a fastball from Bobby Schroeder to left-center for a 3-run home run. Just like that, the Sun Devils had a walk-off win.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Arizona State manager Michel Boisseau.
