| Armada Walk Off with Win | The Armada grabbed a win, 5-4, at Lucky 7 Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Cabo San Lucas pitcher Masazumi Ohayashi. Ohayashi went 7 innings and allowed no earned runs. Chris Coady got credit for the win, improving to 1-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.1 innings. The Armada sit in 5th place in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division with a record of 28-39.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Quebec trailing 4-3, Mel Dominguez hit a fastball from Mike Foust to left for a 2-run home run. Just like that, the Armada had a walk-off win.
"I was a little disappointed," said Cabo San Lucas manager Cisco Sánchez. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
