| Razorbacks Stymie Georgia, Take 2-1 Win | Georgia center fielder Noah Lewandowski had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Lewandowski went 2 for 4 with a home run, even as Arkansas beat the Bulldogs, 2-1. Lewandowski was named the player of the game despite the loss. Eric Rhoades got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3.1 innings. With the win, Arkansas pushes its record to 4-3.
Arkansas used the timely hitting of Mark Peterson to capture the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Razorbacks on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Georgia manager Jorge Ayala. "The effort was great."
