| Toreros Win at Vancouver, 5-2 | The Cabo San Lucas Toreros topped the Vancouver Pioneers, 5-2, in Thurman Munson League action at "The Fort" at B.C. Place. The player of the game was Cabo San Lucas pitcher and Toronto, Canada native Ryan Goldberg. Goldberg, now 13-3, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 2 earned runs. Mike Foust notched his 22nd save in 23 chances.
Junzo Takenaka, the 16th overall pick in the 2029 draft, aided the Cabo San Lucas cause with a 2-run double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
