Carlson was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 5 innings of 2-hit ball. The winner was Mike Vogel in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Eric Carlson took the loss. Ryan LeBlanc closed the door for Wake Forest, picking up his 3rd save of the year.
