| Tornadoes Win at Mile High, 9-5 | The Kansas City Tornadoes overcame a good performance by Mile High left fielder Yashpal Rob to knock off Mile High, 9-5, at McNichols Stadium. Rob went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. The Tornadoes, now 6-1, have hit the ground running this season.
Antonio Santana aided the Kansas City cause with a bases-clearing double in the top of the second. For the game, the catcher was 1-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Santana.
