Guzman, who dominated for Maple, earned the victory to move to 2-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 10. Bloomington batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Guzman.
