| Cougars Win at Texas A&M, 7-3 | Houston Cougars starter Jeremy Schall was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Texas A&M Aggies, 7-3. Allen Campbell was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. The Cougars, now 2-0, have hit the ground running this season.
Keith Weed, who is the top prospect in the Cougars organization, aided the Houston cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
