Bulldogs Lose, 8-2, at Pit Vipers Ballpark

The Indiana State Sycamores thumped the Georgia Bulldogs, 8-2, at Pit Vipers Ballpark. Kevin Craig was a big reason his team got the win. Craig went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The Sycamores, now 2-0, have hit the ground running this season.

In the bottom of the 6th, right fielder Kevin Potts gave Indiana State the lead when he hit a 3-run home run. The Sycamores had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out home run off Georgia pitcher Dan LeMond changed that -- and Indiana State went on to win.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Craig.
