| Volunteers Top Crimson Tide in Extras | Tennessee Volunteers starter Ben Lucas was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Alabama Crimson Tide, 4-1. With the win, Tennessee is 1-1.
The Volunteers got a big at-bat from catcher Matt Schafer. For the game, Schafer was 1-5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the 11th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 1st double of the season gave Tennessee a 4-1 lead.
