| Razorbacks Win at Michigan, 6-2 | The Arkansas Razorbacks beat the Michigan Wolverines, 6-2, at Siege Ballpark. Arkansas catcher Rafael Melendez earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner was Arkansas reliever Eric Rhoades, now 1-0. The loser was Trevor Bushman. T.J. Dyer was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when Melendez hit a 2-run single. It propelled the Razorbacks into the lead, 3-1.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Melendez.
The win leaves Arkansas with a record of 1-1.
