| Late Rally by Bruins Secures Win | The UCLA Bruins started the 2038 season win an impressive 6-4 win against the Texas Longhorns at Ballpark of Shiprock College. Jason Gillum was named player of the game.
Gillum had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-2 fastball from Bobby Schroeder, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Bruins a 6-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Gillum.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Gillum said.
