Rhinos Walk Off with Win

Rubber City got a first-rate effort from pitcher Jose Gonzalez, who frustrated San Diego hitters en route to a 1-0 Rhinos triumph at The Rubber Grounds. Even with the win, the Rhinos have a dismal 16-48 record.

The Rhinos got a big at-bat from second baseman Fernando Calvo. For the game, Calvo was 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 16th double of the season gave Rubber City a 1-0 lead.

"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Calvo.
