Vikings Get Road Win, 4-3

The Victoria Vikings topped the Williamsport Crosscutters, 4-3, in TMLA action at Crosscutters Park. The player of the game was Victoria pitcher Peter Densem. The Vikings, at 102-59, have now won 6 straight.

Victoria used the timely hitting of Val Peraza to capture the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Vikings on top, 4-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Williamsport manager Michael Ashe. "But we decided not to take it."
